From WWD: "If there's one soccer match whose result won't trigger bad blood, it's the game scheduled for May 16 in Turin when the Nazionale Stilisti (the Italian designer team) will be suiting up once again, this time to raise money for the Fondazione Sant'Anna of Turin, which supports the neonatal care unit at the city's Sant'Anna hospital. The team, which includes Beatrice Trussardi, Diesel chief Renzo Russo, Santo Versace, Ferruccio Ferragamo and Ippolito Etro will be lead by their captain, Italia Indpendent's Lapo Elkann and will play against Turin's Juventus Almuni including old-time champions Gianluca Vialli, Paolo Montero and Ciro Ferrara.
Following the game the team will host a fund-raisiing gala dinner at the Circolo Canottieri Esperia for 300 people. In September, the team raised funds for muscular dystrophy research and will soon be organizing an event to lend solidarity to the victims of the earthquake in L'Aquila, Italy." wwd.com
